Alright so I dont remember the exact statistics of this but it takes a whole bunch of plants to feed one animal that will then only feed a few people. If the plants went directly to the consumer then it would be a lot more efficient.
its idiotic to say "well we have a food crCIA and can't get enough food from meat"the amount of food it takes to feed a cow is tremendous. the amount of food that cow will produce is very little. people eat meat because they like it-- don't try to justify it with some morale reason.
