what dog should get

i was thinking a pug or shiba but what are some other dogs that are somewhat easy to take care of/make good pets? im thinking of something not too big, but not really anything like a yorkie or toy poodle or anything like that. still thinking of what i should get

I've heard husky's are very hard to take care of and train, but I've only ever seen other people's
I've always wanted to get pug, but I personally own a purebred border collie who while they take alot of attention, can be taught incredibly easily
