Author Topic: The next version of Windows is "Windows 10"  (Read 3352 times)

not 9

right now all we know is that start menu is back, windows will know what system you're on and give you said look (if keyboard + mouse is connected then desktop mode), multiple desktops, command prompt update, etc.

10 is essentially microsoft trying to make up from their big forget up with 8.

i still hope to god this is going on: http://bgr.com/2014/09/28/windows-9-upgrade-free-download/

why not a better sounding name like Windows X or something?

I hope you can remove all the tiles and stuff from the start menu they have.

idk ask microsoft.

WAIT IF IT WERE WINDOWS X APPLE AND THEIR FANBASE WILL BE MAD.

(mac os X.... windows X...)

that would be a major lawsuit and it's just better to call it 10.

best name ever

Windows xXx

because you know what majority of people use computers for

Why not Windows 2015 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary?

You're thinking of the Xbox.

Personally I think calling it windows 10 is a terrible idea. Microsoft is starting to get weird with their naming.

Well that was unexpected. :)

still waiting for stained glass windows

The name is paneful.

let's hope it shatters our expectations

It won't. My PC Repair teacher is legit an alpha and beta tester for Windows since XP.

He has it on one of his laptops. He loves it. He said he might bring it in and show us and told us not to tell anyone.
oops
