Pls no tiles...
TomTheGeek actually tried removing the tiles from the start menu and it works exactly how you'd hope it would. Just a regular start menu minus the sidebar to the right

See, I'm hoping I can keep a start menu just like the one in windows 8.1, because it's perfect.

"this OS is terrible because of 1 feature you can completely get rid of without any external modifications"

I didnt say the OS was terrible i said Tiles were a terrible idea. Microsoft realized that forcing the tiles onto people wasn't a good idea and now they are trying to fix that. However I still dont like the straight edges and solid colors of the windows 8 style. Windows 7's curves are easier to look at IMO

also why are you typing in a different font

As long as I can modify the style of the windows, icons and program bars ill be okay with Windows 10. High Definition Squares are not appealing to me

to get on people's nerves

But tiles are so much more convenient than the start menu.

Not really. I've found that a list of start menu bookmarks is probably the most convenient way of starting programs, outside of just typing the program name in.

I almost never have to go into the "all programs" menu.

i havent once been in my all programs

I don't really like the start menu.

It's more convenient for me to either just hit the windows key and start typing and the program I want shows up, or I hit the window key and there's a big huge icon for me to click on, rather than some small one all the way off in the corner.

I still find the 8 style start menu more convenient.

to get on people's nerves
no, because i enjoy the font and think it should be used more often

edit: woops, forgot to segoe
