Author Topic: What if someone say, "yes ma'am" or "sir ma'am"to you is male?  (Read 979 times)

A few people say that, it was freakin werido! I not like when someone say yes, ma'am to me... eeeww. Because I am a man.

are you drunk again?

considering i look a lot like a girl this has happened way too many times. they just apologize and move on

we had a substitute teacher a few days ago. i was talking to one of my buddies and he accidentally fell over and hit me in the face.

sub looked at my friend and yelled 'LEAVE THAT YOUNG WOMAN ALONE'

They just suck at sign language.

its probably a common mistake with people who aren't 100% fluent in sign language

Are you sure they're not calling you "man"?

I mean, you are deaf so it would be an understandable mistake..

no and anyone that says it to a man has issues

Am I new here, Word order protocol unfamiliar. "Yes ma'am sir ma'am" man, man.
