>to ever have lived

unless you count your father/grandfather's ballsack

in which case you would be in there, technically

my house is in that picture

Just remember there are sentient beings out there trying to answer the same questions that we are asking ourselves, and they are just as insignificant as we are.

what I'm wondering is, if we physically managed to go fast enough that we can pass the expansion of the universe, what would be past the universe?
just darkness forever and ever or something else?

this sorta does a better job I guess of showing you how small we are. but it doesn't really make me feel like the others do

that's another thing. infinite nothing. what would that be like? how can that even exist? infinity is a weird thing

I don't know if there are aliens other than us in our own galaxy. I'm sure there have been, or will be, at some point, but I dunno if I'm confident enough to say I think there is right now. but I do know that I'm confident enough to say that I think there is intelligent life of some kind in at least one other galaxy, in the present

its not the infinity part we have trouble with. its the nothing part.
how can we image nothing. it just doesnt work. i can imagine infinity more than nothing itself.

I can't. nothing is easy for me. it would just be empty black to us
but if the universe just went on forever
what? like, if I try to imagine the entire universe in one image, I can't, because it's infinite. I always accidentally add some kind of border, then I'm like, wait, gotta get rid of that. because it never ends. no border or anything. it just keeps going on, forever
the infiniteness of time is easier for me to imagine, but I don't know why
