This seemed fine at first, but then the guy who made Foodfight was said to be directing it and that ruined everything ever. That and it's a sci-fi action movie or something? No thank you.

That's a movie that I'm not watching.

But you know, guys. People made millions making movies out of animated sponges, toys, and cars. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to make one with blocks.

Why is everyone freaking out about this and the Angry Birds movie? Literally nothing has been released that can make people like/dislike it. You all are freaking out over nothing.

See? Two things that've been released for the Angry Birds movie, which we've known about for a few years now.
The Tetris movie, on the other hand, has just been announced, and the only thing we know is the guy who's producing it, who has made a direct-to-DVD movie that was absolutely godawful. BUT the main reason we know about that film is because a popular YouTuber (JonTron) made a video about it. So anyone that knew about his past work wouldn't like it, but others would be indifferent.

If anything those previews would make you think the movie is good if anything. The image makes the movie seem true to the game and the voice cast is phenomenal.
