Don't they just wrap a rubber string around your arm and put a needle in it? It's not that bad, just feels like your skin is being pinched

But if it helps, just look away and close your eyes, or tightly squeeze something when you start to feel any pain

The syringe will miss and you will squirt blood for hours
You'll be fine. If your arm is tense, it might sting a bit (speaking from experience). Have it loose and nothing will explode inside that room.

As someone who's gotten it done hundreds of times, neither of these has ever been an issue. I'm still scared of needles, but it's just an unpleasant poke.

Remember not to eat or drink too much of anything except water before you go or you'll have to do it again.
