Certain users just get stuff thrown at them right off the bat for anything mildly unfunny or stupid.
Say like, Mr Queeba or Maxxi say a joke with an error in it. They'll get told off for it big time with loads of corrections and smart-ass comments with some humiliation. Then you have someone "normal" like Dreams_Of_Cheese or Frontrox post a joke with an error in it, and they'll simply be corrected.
And yet you label that as "trying to fit in". It's not trying to fit in, it's not trying to be anything. No wonder these people are confused, angry and want to leave to Facepunch (which oh god steer clear from that pile of stuff).
Though get this: the people making fun of the "ones with lower reputation", are the people most others would consider to be starfishs. You don't see Georges or hodot constantly insulting and bashing Setro or something (maybe a few jokes would be the most), because they simply ain't starfishs.
You may be thinking "But they've forgeted up in the past". Who hasn't? This is what I'm talking about. If they forget up, you'll "remember it" (aka holding a massive grudge) and you'll keep bringing it up every time they do something slightly wrong and go all "Another one to add to the stuff you've done". You don't see any old random spamming the stuff out of the B button in Speed Kart, get yelled at and move on. You don't see someone posting unnecessary, dumb criticism on another one's art simply because they don't own a tablet, get banned or yelled at and move on. Nor do you have someone getting upset with posting a picture of their face on the forums, with it only being 'shopped onto other images to be made fun of, get told "it's the internet, expect this to happen" and move on. They all have these grudges held against them. These actions a few users have done are probably so iconic you could link them up to the three forumers I referenced. That's how bad this situation is. That's how bad some of you actually are without realizing it.
This ain't some "stop cyber bullying" thing or sjw or whatever it is, I'm just loving tired of cringing to the same starfishs insulting the same people, most of the time completely unprovoked.
And no, this wasn't written by anyone mentioned in this post.
This has happened to me so many times by people who I thought were cool.
If a forumer gets drama'd once, makes someone else mad unintentionally over something insignificant as hell that can be redone / remade EASILY, or just acts like a normal human being (i.e. being different from everyone else, nothing wrong with them), they all get stuff dropped on them.
Doing that doesn't make you look "cool and edgy," it makes you look like a loving poser desperate for attention.
I did not post this to make me look "cool and serious," I'm just loving tired of people doing this stuff.
The reason this part is so big is because some people only read part of a post and don't finish it. Edit: This is the first time I've taken something this loving seriously.
