I'm not sure how I feel about the "oz" mechanic

Oxygen tanks are just another layer of loot I have to deal with that blends in with blue weapons and Moonstone from afar and on the rare occasion that I remember the slam attack exists I don't have enough oxygen to feel comfortable using it

Everything else about the game is great though, the addition of character voices during quests is a massive step forward

I didn't like the first borderlands when I played it but I got this with my graphics card and I like it so far

Anyway, I'm playing as Claptrap (partly because I fear it wouldn't be Borderlands without him involved), since he's an interesting character to play, and my friend will be playing Wilhelm (primarily because he wants to see his body upgrade with his new skills, since he was jealous of seeing my Deathtrap do that while I was playing as Gaige).

I'm playing as the claptrap mostly because he doesn't need oxygen to breathe, so all of the O2 can go to the little jump boost things and stuff
but also bc he's a cute robot, and all of the other options were clearly human characters

the story was meh and the characters were kind of bland compared to bl2
