Pretty soon, I suppose.

Then it'll be called the Rainbow state instead of sunshine state, and "Flowerda" instead of Florida.

'Why is gay marriage so frowned upon by many? I'm a Christian and take religion fairly seriously.  What's the big deal anyway?'
Well, if you were to really were to take it seriously, you would know that in the Bible it clearly states that homoloveuality isn't the correct thing to do (Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6, etc.). Christians (or the name "Protestants", as so many non-Christians call Evangelicals/Pentecostals even though we aren't Protestants) do not reject homoloveuals, but we do not support them. What I mean by that is that if we support them, we are only supporting the sin/bad in the world. If we reject them, then were is the love of God in us (We'd be hypocrites)? Homoloveuals are the same as a person who smokes weed or as a person who prostitutes themselves (they both practice sin). People who apart themselves from that practice of sin has a chance of being saved.... and so on.

I'm gonna end off there because it'll end off being a complete sermon, but I just wanted to clear that up.

nice way of putting it m8

I'm not a family man, but I don't support it either.

Except in the part where all of those passaged they were either: 1) mis-translated AKA talking about perverts instead of homoloveuals. 2) written as per the time period, and 3) intended for a specific group of people (Leviticus).

The thing is people that are religious shouldn't care about gay marriage since it doesn't really have anything to do with them. I don't care enough about it just like I don't really think its my place to have an opinion on abortion since I'm not a female. I think they should just legalize it everywhere so that the government can focus on more economical issues instead of trivial social ones.

I care. Why do homoloveuals get to influence other human beings and not us? Our goal is to basically talk to everyone about God, his love, all of his splendor, and most importantly what God can do in your life. I'm not just gonna lay around ignoring the necessity in the world, yes it's a necessity.

But how does it affect you? Someone getting married and being happy effects you? Just because of their loveuality?

Goddamn finally.

yes it's a necessity.
Converting people's loveuality is not a necessity, it's judgement, family values, and a really richardish thing to do in general.

It really isn't. They are influencing/converting literally a lot of people! Starting from Kindergarten, they have books showing that it's normal, when in reality it really isn't. Look, there will always be conflict on that issue. Homoloveuals will disregard religions and whatever that goes against them and religions will always contradict their ways.

You could say that
Converting people's loveuality [to homoloveuality] is really richardish thing to do in general.

In the end, when we confront God face to face, we'll see who has the reasoning.

Is it wrong that I just want people to not face persecution for their loveuality/gender/race and for them to be happy?
