Author Topic: What good books have you read?  (Read 2033 times)

For me, most books aren't appealing, I just don't see why anyone would read a book without a good story line. The books I've read (on my own time) are few, but very interesting. I am reading the second book of the series Rot and Ruin, which is called Dust and Decay. It is about a 15 year old boy who lives with his 34 year old brother is a world 14 years after First Night, the dawn of the zombie apocalypse. Unteachable is NSFW, but has a very good story line and great writing techniques. It is about a high school student that has a loveual relationship with her teacher.

Discuss great books to read on your own time. (no weaboo manga stuff please)

cat's cradle, breakfast of champions, slaughterhouse-five

all by kurt vonnegut

anything that michael moore directs, produces, or writes is a go on my list

Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant
Legend, Prodigy
Malice, Havoc
The Deltora Quest series
Warrior Cats series
The Declaration
Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear, Light

The Stand, Andromeda Strain, The Maze Runner series

Everything written by Dan Brown (Da Vinci Code, Inferno, Digital Fortress, Deception Point, etc.) I find really entertaining, just for the plot. Apparently his writing is kinda sloppy but it's entertaining so it's fine by me.
