Author Topic: pourin my heart out, like a pusillanimous individual.  (Read 1983 times)

it was pretty well written tho

Don't commit Self Delete because this is all you got. Nevermind that nothing is forever, nevermind that life can be cruel, just think that this is all you got. This life, right now, is all you have, all you ever will have, all anyone has; and for people who didn't get the chance to live their life to the fullest, you owe it to them to live yours for as long as possible.

Have fun, meet people, imagine worlds, create your dreams, help others fulfill their's, ponder life's questions, and above all, remember how lucky you are.

You're a bag of chemicals that grew a consciousness, that can think, say and do anything, that can feel pain and love, happiness and sadness. You're you. The only you. The only you that will ever be. And you owe it to the universe to live your life, to enjoy the small amount of time your cells allow, to dream of the cosmos and move mountains here on Earth.

If you die tomorrow, so what? You won't care, you'll be dead. But the unimaginable grief that you will cause your loved ones, the potential that you will have destroyed with one quick swish of a knife or one long struggle with a rope, the anger that you will bestow upon those around you for not noticing or not doing enough to save you, the absolute confusion your parents will feel: that's not worth it. That's cruelty. That's not love.

Self Delete is a selfish thing, and while it is your choice if you want to live or die, its the ultimate destruction of your world and the people in it. You will have destroyed yourself because of a fleeting desire, a disease of depression that can easily be treated or managed. You will have murdered, you.

Live on, things will get better. People are all around you to help. This blue marble that we're spinning around on is your home, and you should stay as long as you possibly can.

I can't tell if OP is drunk right now but if you are, I'd recommend hitting the bed and don't bother waking up early

who the forget am I to make it about me
who else is it supposed to be about? it's not like this situation is someone you know having cancer or something and you're upset about that. being sad about a death is always only about whoever the sad individual is. there's nothing selfish about being sad about losing someone. it's not even possible for selfishness to be a part of that sorta stuff

it's nice to try and help and all, but this anti-religion stuff isn't really appropriate imo unless you know exactly what OP's religion is, or lack of it, or whatever, which you could, possibly, but that's not really the vibe I'm getting
like it isn't that hard to come up with something religiously-neutral to say

anyway, not everyone dies in some miserable hospital. like, you could die, doing some rad backflip off a cliff on a mountain with an avalanche behind you. even if it comes down to it, and you have some undoubtedly-terminal disease, you don't have to be stuck in a hospital. just go to some state or country or whatever you gotta do where doctor-assisted Self Delete is legal, and get them to help out. it's not like you'll have to worry about not having money for rent after the travel costs. you don't even have to buy a round-trip ticket. and if your family doesn't agree to it, who cares? it's your life, not theirs. they'd be the selfish ones anyway, getting mad about you not wanting to suffer through countless hospital visits and painful treatment and sitting in a bed all day feeling helpless

Oh I'm sorry.

OP don't kill yourself because some gods consider it a sin and you'll burn eternally in whatever pit they throw bad people in. Unless you don't believe in fairy tales, in which case I will refer you to exhibit 1:

now you're just straight-up being an ass for no reason

now you're just straight-up being an ass for no reason
I put thought and actual emotion into trying to convince someone that Self Delete isn't the answer and I got called out for not being sensitive to his world views? No, I'm not being an ass for no reason. I'm being an ass because you decided you wanted to make me an ass.

he's just giving some advice, sure its kinda rude to give so in a situation like this but he's not hostile.

2deep4me.

seriously though, you should prolly take up these offers that some of the forumers are giving you. talking to someone is always helpful.

i take offense to people who tell others they are suicidal.
they themselves have decided they are worthless, yet they feel the need to remind us they are still here.
how nice of them to be both worthless and rubbing it in our face that they still take up space in our world being a burden.
we have lives to live, gtfo the way.

Camel, bro, dude, like its normal to feel upset when someone dies. It is really hard to lose someone close to you, I know. Your heart it is hurt, but trust me alcohol will only make you feel worse later. Killing yourself to end your trauma will hurt your family even more. What has happened is a lot to take in, some real heavy stuff. You gotta be strong, Your uncle would probably want you guys to be happy.

Sorry about being a richard to you. I'm trying hard to be less of a richard.

camel your loving cool like really

if you kill yourself thats just going to hurt not only your family but probably people on the forums

i would add you on steam but i dunno, i think i talked to you on skype before

I know. it's just forgetin... seeing someone stop breathing puts it into perspective.

life is a priceless ming vase, but sometimes you just want to throw it, not because you want to hit someone but you want to see it shatter
