not really. not very quickly, at least.
takes a long time for it to actually add up to that much. i have adobe creative cloud under some teacher and student discount and it only costs $20 a month. it'll go up to the normal $50 or w/e after a year i think. compare that to spending $1000+ for a permanent license, and it would still take a few years for the permanent license to be a better deal. regardless, it's much more feasible than spending all that up front. it does suck that it's so expensive, but creative cloud is a p good deal considering.
This is only worthwhile, however, if you use at least several products. Otherwise, you can offset the price by buying a single app vs the suite.
Also, the reason Adobe charges so much? Because they can. They basically have a monopoly on that industry, so they can charge as much as they want (within reason) and still do fantastically.
