Also on a stick

where the forget is medium

I suppose if I have to go med well/med rare I'd pick med well but I'd still go with medium.

If you want a regular medium option, just pick medium well. They're pretty much the same.

They're pretty much the same.
here's a guy who doesn't know steak

Anything other than rare and medium rare is completely unacceptable. There is no point in buying anything better than a Wendy's hamburger if you're gonna burn it.
Couldn't have said it better myself

or you could just add medium........

no it is not
add it please

It depends on where I'm eating and what kind of steak I'm eating. If I order, say, a filet mignon, I'll order it medium rare and be very annoyed if it comes out medium well or well done. I'll eat it if it's medium, but prefer medium rare. If it's a forgetin flat iron steak or other lower quality meat, I'll order it medium because the fat needs to be cooked out of it and into the meat. This one also gets a tolerance of one level in each direction, I'll eat a flat iron steak medium well or medium rare but not rare or well done.

Also, OP cannot claim to be a steak connoisseur and refuse to accept that medium is a real level of cooking.

I like steak without elitism.

When I was younger I prefered Medium well, but now I've gotten fond of Medium rare and rare.

Also, if you use steak sauce, you might as well walk up to the cook (or yourself) and punch them in the face. A good steak doesn't need steak sauce and asking for some in a restaurant is an insult.

Medium to Well Done.
I don't want blood in my food (and yes, I know it's not actually blood, but even so).

Dry steak is just horrible. I might as well go find a field and bite a cow's arse.
A good sauce really makes a meal. White Wine and Mushroom is usually good with Sirloin.

Rare. Rare allows the perfect balance, where the juices flow freely without being too gelatin or too cold. I don't enjoy medium, and can't eat medium well and above. Absolute waste of a steak.

Also, to everyone who burns the stuff out of their steak for the fear of blood, there is no blood in a steak. Only a tiny amount of blood is left in the tissue of red meat when it is sold in a store, and it is lost when cooked. The red juice in the meat is a mixture of water and protein called Myoglobin, it tastes good, adds flavor and juiciness to the steak, and is not bad for you at all. I can't imagine a reason why anyone would have to be scared of it.
