Yeah... lol. What was that like 2007 2002?

In 2008 during the presidential election, the gas prices were $1.39 here. When I was born, gas was $0.99 in Jefferson City, MO.

IIRC the government removed restrictions on fuel production. Increase supply means less money value.

In Southern California, gas is like $4.00/gal

Some isolated places on the California coastline go up to $6.50/gal because the coastal road is so windy

They've been getting hella low

They are like $1 per liter here where I live

which would be $3.785 per gal ;-;

Last time I fueled up it was a tenth of a cent less than three bucks a gallon.  Lowest I've seen it since I started caring about any of that.


More than 50% of gas prices are based on the tax levied against them (Sin-Taxes). If you live in a state with lower gas prices, chances are you also have lower taxes.
