You can force yourself to sit down, do math homework and be better at, if not understanding the material, regurgitating the process on future assessments.
That's never worked with anybody I ever taught, watched being taught, and completely contradicts my study of learning processes in the brain.

it's subconscious. i don't think mcjobless is right in saying it's impossible to learn when you don't want to, but i think you barely retain any of it. If you're looking at the board and aren't texting, you want to learn, whether you're aware of it or not.

that's why cramming isn't always good because you don't want to learn, you want to sleep.

Give it the equations: "a+b=c, ε > 0, c > rad(abc)1+ε"

interestingly enough its very poorly done
recognition is ass

Or, you know, you could actually do the homework and improve on your math skills, even if you "already know how to do it", because it helps you actually improve and because you won't (at least shouldn't) have it on a test.
reminds me of the petty argument against calculators

It's actually from the abc conjecture, which is a (i've heard) very important conjecture in mathematics.

give it fermat's last theorem

Looks awesome.

A whole new motivation for sneaking your phone into class.

Why didn't this exist when I was still in school. Always hated math.

Cue the waves of concerned mothers and teachers.

i wouldnt use this in class. its clunky as hell to use and it takes a year to recognize anything

I was holding it up in clear focus for like 10 minutes on something as easy as "x + 3 = 7"
then it kept changing its mind between 4 and -1/4 lol

Don't need, already good at math.

He said to "get through homework faster" so that implies using it without doing actual math and using this to check

I can see myself using this if I'm not understanding the problem and would like to know how to do it if there are similar problems available to me.
