Your self image is something that your mind develops from looking in a mirror.

Unless you've literally only seen pictures of yourself from your entire life your self image is going to be different from other people's perception of you.

You make it seem like it's physically impossible to understand how others see you. It's not. Stop pretending it is.

heres something i just thought of when i was drinking a soda and taking a piss at the same time:
you never really are directly touching something with your fingers because there is an unfathomably small and seemingly invisible space in between said surface and finger

When I was a young child I imagined that there was a small force field all around me, so I was never actually touching things. How right I was.

If something can be defined by everything it isn't, does that make what it is, it isn't? And what isn't, it is?

To those who are knowledgeable of philosophy/philosophers, whose philosophies do you agree with?  Western or eastern philosophy?

Confucius has some good stuff, obviously I don't agree with all of it. Socrates scares the stuff out of me sometimes, but that's what you get from ancient thinking that relates to gods and stuff.

On a more modern note, Voltaire is the most quotable philosopher in the history of the world and is my favorite, just based on his wit.

All good and fun.

Socrates is someone who really interests me.  He's a mystery to me.  I think his simplicity is something to value.
