Because they don't have guns for the reason of "school safety."

I mean like, there should at least be 5 trained people on the staff who aren't loving pansies who can use a gun.

At this point everyone in America should get a revolver with 1 round. All other guns should be taken away. This will solve everything.

how about schools get more loving security, thats a problem today. They should have airport styled security because I don't want to be in a class when some guy shouts out loud "allahu akbar!" and blows himself up or some handicap starts shooting someone. There is no security what so ever in schools, people should just hire police to guard schools.

So what want to use tax dollars to buy something that your tax dollars already pay for?

Some highschools have what is called as a police ambassador program where they will assign a single police officer to a school. Usually the schools use them for cracking down on stoners and junkies while driving around in their golf carts. Basically their function is to improve police and community relations, crack down on drugs, and help protect the school. Also I believe schools should be a place for learning, not a fortress prison where my kid gets groped by a rent a cop and gets treated like a criminal. The only reason why "badguys" would target a school is the number of potential victims that can't fight back or flee easily and if you feel threatened then the terrorists already won because they want you to feel scared.
