Author Topic: Need New Gaming Headset  (Read 2776 times)

My headset just bit the dust because I tripped over it's long ass 3 meter wire and it tore straight out of the USB port, second headset for this to happen, both were $150. This time I want to get a wireless headset. Suggestions?

Here's a few things I want in the headset.

  • $240 Or Less
  • *Good Sound Quality*
  • Wireless
  • Preferably a noise canceling mic, but not really required, just a decent mic okay.

My brother got a Wireless Corsair headset, had pretty good sound. Not sure if the mic was noise cancelling. I don't know what model he got, but it was around 100$.

ew wireless x.x

This isn't 2005. I have seen good wireless headsets. Hop off the 'lele  wrless sukcs" bandwagon.

why do you have so much cord slack, seat side of computer's desk.
throw it all behind the comp. you should only use it when you are sitting at the comp. thats like a need for 2 feet...
you cant trip over that

There might be decent ones around, but that doesn't mean they're good, particularly when compared to a wired set. Not to mention how that affects the price. Just quit being clumsy.

If you get another wired one make sure to run the cord to the back and plug it in there. Have the wire along side the computer case so its mostly tucked away when you aren't using it.
Also watch where you step.

Also, won't wireless just cost you a lot more in the long run because of batteries?

No good headphones?

Used them already and they sound no worse than a wired headset, but considering they are not really optimized for calls and stuff they wouldn't be my first choice.

gaming headphones are garbage but knowing you, you'd be too stubborn to think otherwise
wireless is pointless if you want quality, and buying a seperate microphone will be a better and more reliable deal
