Only thing is the mic is half-decent. Better than a laptop mic but not as a good as a standup desk mic.

This. I have the G230's and they're great. Can't image those would be worse.
Plus you can get them 60 bucks cheaper on Amazon.

you kidding me? sound quality is going to be WAY better on a real headset. and no, it's not to hear people talk. it's for things like music :)
