Author Topic: so i had a terrible nightmare  (Read 1373 times)

i hope it's not a trend, but i had an EHS dream last night. EHS is "exploding head syndrome", where your dreams are often punctuated with loud noises, such as screams, explosions, or large bursts of static, like i had.

it started out with me playing some stuffty PS1 era horror game titled "Game & Ghost". i'm just feeling the feeling of being hung over a black landscape + screen and I hear a voice from far off laugh at how cheesy the graphics are. and then it shines bright and cuts to a view of me in a chair sitting next to some weird alien freak (think a 3d representation of sen). Then I wake up.

I've got some time before I have wake up for real, so I go back to sleep. This time, I'm playing Game & Ghost II. There's not much happening, the same black background and scenery, but this time there is a low-res small model of myself. I look like Morty. There's a little pink version of my playermodel sitting down a foot or two away from me and I can't reach it. I hear a child's voice go "Don't Be Afraid" or something like that and there's a giant blast of light and a large burst of forget-all noise and here I am now.

Hope you're not too frazzled by that.

Out of many dreams I remember, here's a short one I had a while back.

I don't exactly know what took place, but it was pretty simple: I had my insulin taken away, and I was to meet someone in some hotel room. Place was quite nice, but I didn't get to see it for long. I think I was waiting in the room, or it happened to where I was in the room, and this person walked in next to a bed, did something while turned as I confronted him about the situation. As he turned to face me, I woke up right before the bullet made contact, since he had a revolver of some type. Very loud and scared me quite a bit, but I knew in the dream, at least at the end, that I had a way to get out.

Jeez. The last dream I had before this one that I can remember was from last week, where I'm on some pier on an island in Florida, and my dad is walking parallel on a pier made of semi-submerged ice, allowing him to "walk on water". I'm worried that something bad will happen to me if I get on that same walkway, so I do not walk on it, instead I stay on the pier. We're going to buy my mom a gift for her birthday at this gift shop towards the end of the pier, so we both walk over there to see who's faster. In the end, I am. I walk inside the store and see my dad's not here, so I must've beaten him. I walk downstairs and see the walkway and he's not on it. I go back up and I look everywhere, everywhere and my dad is gone. I end up going back into the car where my mother has been patiently waiting for us to return and going home, without my dad, who is nowhere to be seen.

Ouch. I remember another short I had which wasn't explained at all and I'd like to get it out before I forget.

I was in a stacked parking lot. I seemed to be low to the ground, so I was a child in this dream. I walked down the way, turned a corner. There was a van at the end of the next corner, which I walked to, curious as any child. I turned this corner, and it was a very strange sight. It looked like some hotel, or maybe steakhouse, I dunno, very bright wood, lanterns hanging off a couple places. Keep in mind we're high on a parking lot here, and it turned out there was a man in the van behind me. As I walked a little more, I saw a man in a suit sitting on a bench in front of this location; he was old, bit of a wrinkled face, mostly happy, blue eyes, and in good health. Taking another step, he suddenly got a face of worry, rushing towards me as I fell down, putting a hand into his suit. I had been shot from the man in the van, which lead to a shootout, since I heard yelling and more footsteps running. It was amazingly painful for a split second, then just faded out.

Very weird experience, again it kinda scared me, but I honestly think I was looking through some child's eyes at that time. Also, I don't play any horror games, or watch anything of the like.

I don't play or watch horror games either. The last game that scared me that I played was LSD Dream Emulator and that was a while ago..

i literally couldn't sleep at all and it sucked cuz too much caffeine. last time I had a nightmare was a long time ago. basically ms Sam haunted my house and my computer monitor displayed a spooky skull and it chased me around.

I hate it when nightmares ends in EHS
You always wake up in panic with very high heart rate
