I just came across this artical, even though it's a bit old I thought I was interesting

the highest resolution ever achieved

Quote
To put that into perspective, commenter SteveO over at SA notes that 78 micrometers is the size of one pixel on Apple’s new retina displays — displays that are designed so that the human eye can’t discern any pixelation at normal viewing distances.

The scientists managed to stuff an entire photo into a space that’s smaller than one of those pixels.

1600x900 is the highest resolution ive ever achieved ):

800x600 is the best resolution.

1024×1366 best resolution

that's a 512:683 aspect ratio
wtf were the designers on when they made that screen

What's the point of citing such a specific aspect ratio.

most aspect ratios are 16:9 or 16:10 or 4:3 or even 1:1 or some small number to some other small number
but that one isn't

I know that's why I mentioned it. I mean would you say a 1025:801 screen has a 1025:801 aspect ratio? Probably, but why bother lol

Because it's abnormal. People generally mention things being atypical when there's a heavily followed standard that it disregards.

Epic Dragon sensor by Red has a resolution of 6k. Are you sure that Apple has achieved the highest resolution?
