Author Topic: Do any of you have any experience with Sprint?  (Read 1007 times)

We're currently paying too much for Verizon even with my dad's work discount. My dad has been talking about swapping over to Sprint, and I was wondering if any of you use this carrier.

Is it any good?

Pic related, it's our phone bill.

what the forget did you do to make that brother, like download 12 terabytes of foot special interest's?

I think they just throttle your speed if you go over the cap

There's 6 of us on the plan, 5 of us have smartphones

sprint is probably better than verizon but their coverage is ass and there were a bunch of cases where calls or texts got dropped in my family

we switched to a provider that uses T-Mobile towers and now I get service at certain subway stations below ground :V

oh that makes more sense, ya i use sprint but i have a single phone plan not 6 phones, it works good for me i usually dont use data that much off wifi cuase im worried ill get a $415.58 phone bill like you XD but srysly its a good plan you should switch to it, the coverage sucks richard compared to at&t but the prices are mucho gusto but not that much better in my opinion that you should switch, i know from living with my parents before that verizon has this thing that you can lock out phones after a certian point of data

EX: you all say have a max of 6GB a month on shared data, you can set each phone to stop working with data once it hits 1GB of data, it pissed me off after my parents did that but seeing phone bills now when im paying it i understood why they did it.

What kind of areas do you guys live in?

Suburban, rural, in the city?

Sprint loving blows, my dad had it and there was no reception, they gave him a worse phone then Verizon gave me, they charged him up the ass and CDMA

Hmm

I'm assuming you continued to go over the data limit? Cuz they charge 15 bucks when you do that I'm pretty sure. How many gigs do you guys have for the plan?

This is our normal bill.

We share 10 GB and never go over

yes
they loving sucked
continual bullstuff charges, we couldn't actually get service in our own home, and when we switched, they tried to overcharge us continually for almost two years. we never paid and they threatened legal action, so we called them on their bluff and asked them to get the process started. haven't heard back since.
