This frightens me you'd live in the same state I do, you should stay where you are.

my reason is because california is on the west coast, but I don't think that would convince her (it sure as hell would convince me)

we have nice suburbs and a good downtown area
in the summer there are events in the center of town
the school system's pretty good

oh yeah I also love there

I guess you'll have *lower* taxes. But that's not saying much.
Find a state that doesn't take all your money.

the school system's pretty good
Except for Minneapolis schools. Those are stuff.

Minnesota is pretty sweet. One of the only parts of the country I don't hate.

its like 45 min away. hour if you north of the cities.
not that big a deal.

maybe she wants to live where the action is :D

3 of our suburbs have been in top 10 places to live in the country. like 8 years in a row.

Don't, because why would you want to leave in Minnesota? California is way cooler. Stay there.

California is overrated.

I live in Minneapolis and it is the greatest city on the earth.

The Twin Cities are filled with hipsters.

In reality though, the south metro of MN is pretty sweet otherwise if you get to Elko, be prepared to enter the land that should have been sold to south dakota.  If you live in Minneapolis don't go to North Minneapolis otherwise you might get shot.
