Author Topic: Going to school with a fever; is that a good idea?  (Read 1544 times)

Because apparently it is to my mother. Good to see that my attendance is more important than my physical health...

Yes spread your fever to others

what is your overall attendance like?

Haven't missed a single day yet.

wow ok. well you shouldn't be going to school at all then. The only exception would be if your attendance was stuff due to sleep ins or faking sick, so your mother thought you were faking it again and made you go.

The only thing I can think of is that there is going to be something important happening in your school today, like starting an essay or some stuff.

Nothing important is happening today, it's a late arrival day.

Nope. Severe headache, muscle spazms, chills, sore throat and coughing.

Kinda sucks, I was sick last week, too...

You obviously have Ebola.

Haven't seen any random bruises, and I'm DEFINITELY not coughing up blood.
(yes, I understand this was a joke)

Spread it to everyone

Fever doesn't necessarily mean a contagious sickness, does it? I don't think it does.

Either way, it can cause discomfort and make it difficult to concentrate. If your attendance is literally perfect, it's up to you I guess. Are you gunning for perfect attendance awards?

just go to school, a fever aint major or anything

My sister had it earlier this week, so yes, it's contagious.
