Author Topic: What were some of your very first saves?  (Read 3496 times)

My oldest saves from ~2007-2009 were lost when the various computers I used back then were all replaced. Luckily, I've backed up my folder since 2010 when I got my first personal laptop. Let me see what is the oldest thing I can find.

Seems the oldest save I have is from 2010, and it was a "kill zomibes, get points, buy guns" type thing that used basic VCE. I'm pretty sad that I never got to opportunity to move saves and such from the ~4 different computers I used to play really early on.

Also a bunch of saves from servers I used to host

the nostalgia is killing me help

I don't have it, but it was a tiny little brown default cabin on the slopes with a little roof surrounded by the def pine trees.
I never spammed 1x1x5s, and I never had a boxy build.  I always added some sort of roof to it.  Thank you, LEGOs!

the very first online server i ever joined was waaaay back in like, v1.031-v7. it was a house build and i found these people in the bed working on this. they let me work on it with them and it was the first thing i helped other people make it was so cool (this is what it looks like)

probably some sort of small lego recreation or ugly house

EDIT: I just realized that I still build a lot of lego recreations and houses, but my houses are now at least presentable

Do you still have Boss Battles in the Bedroom?

Do you still have Boss Battles in the Bedroom?
I think it's being hosted tomorrow for the anniversary.

not my very first but close enough

my very first save is like a gas station build

idk

Don't have it anymore, but I distinctly remember the save being on slopes with a hotel quite a way from spawn. That was five years ago.

It was a red firing range I made in the v8 demo. Was fun.

Back in v9 i made a store on the slopes that had a tiny action figure box on the counter. You could shrink the blockhead to fit inside. this was way back in my demo days. I wanted to put mouse holes in it, but never got around to it.

"Feta stuffty 666"

I tried.

I tried.

Nearly all of my first saves were attempts to fix, edit, or add on to default builds.

In late '08 and early '09, I would host servers where I would take requests from people and build them houses along some extra streets I constructed off of ACM. It actually worked out quite well, and I sometimes host roleplays. I then took a long leave of absence from Blockland until 2012 and haven't hosted a server since before that leave.

I had wanted to make a naval battle

So I put a few red boats on each side, facing each other and called it, "Claudio's (my name back then) water war".

There are no other bricks except a baseplate with a part of a wall under it.

My first complete build, which I remember working very hard on to this day, was a loving rainbow jeep dealership in the Slopes lol.
