my first successful judas run. recorded the gif after i had already beaten satan (still haven't gotten the negative yet). this was after a long break from TBOI, too.
i played as a bit of a tank in this run, and once i got tammy's head and a few damage ups i was clearing rooms and bosses in split seconds. mom and mom's heart were instant kills. i wonder how this run would've fared against isaac/???; i took quite a bit of damage from the fallen and satan's first form (went into the fight with a full 12 hearts, ended with 6. the 7th heart you see at the start of the gif was obtained when i forgeted up recording the gif the first time.), but i know isaac and ???'s attack patterns very well compared to satan's, and the satan fight takes much longer IMO.

That's a black heart. They're acquirable like soul hearts, but they deal a necronomicon effect when depleted.

I think he means the soul heart. It looks to me that the GIF converter miscolored it.

so i started a game as eve but I got Judas's shadow

so I ended up beating the Lamb as Judas...that was okay I guess

I also picked up cursed eye thinking it was mom's pearl that almost ruined my run

I think he means the soul heart. It looks to me that the GIF converter miscolored it.

i noticed the heart turned grey as well.
i know the gif recorder i used has an automatic editing thing that deals with colors, so it probably has to do with that.
