Sure there are more kids then there were, but that doesn't mean there isn't the old timers. We're still here, just on more mature servers.
Blockland can be great with the right people.

Don't expect people to like you if you ask this and give your opinion on this. Some people choose to not use addons. If you don't like it, select another server or create your own.

Also, before saying things that will make your reputation go down, try to check the forums. All the answers you need are on it.

If there is something wrong with the servers you join, make one yourself. The tools are available to you, the only limit is how tolerable you are to downloading mods, and probably your imagination.

Also, you really have no right to complain about design decisions about a game several years old. It was in their best interest to do the things they did. Remember that.

What they did to release the game on greenlight, and thus steam, was a helpful business decision, and also brought in a larger playerbase. This was not a bad decision on their part. You can resent them all you want for it, but steam is not at all what ruined the game.
