i dont give a stuff. thats why im asking.
giving a stuff means its relevant to the person.
bisjac can you just stop

no forget you. this is no different then all the article titles out there that post "white woman attacked XXXXX" while her race had nothing to do with the article.

op here is doing the same thing. sensationalizing his story by adding pointless info.
you are clearly to stupid to see this, so why dont YOU stop.

But OP is just explaining why he's a good dude in general - pretty sure the fact that he's a volunteer fire fighter should be mentioned.
Now calm down before you get a headache.

if it's pointless info, why do you feel the need to talk about it???

but they are completely unrelated lol

i dont suck the richard of career heros as you seem to. a title is no reason to be proud.

Depends.

An odd comparison would be like a cookie-cutter's shape.

They let us know (or at least think we know) what shape the dough will be when we cut it.

In a sad roundabout way, this ties in to the career that Dallas has. It's sort of like positive stereotyping (if that's even a thing.) where we know since he's a Fire-Fighter, we assume the things he does, like the one in the OP, are just natural to him.

tl;dr: Since we know he's a Fire-Fighter (and know how they usually act/are portrayed) this information isn't utterly useless because it ties in with the event that happened.

exactly. you made my point for me

exactly. you made my point for me
you're messing up your own point
why did you mention hes a firefighter when the kid he saved had nothing to do with a fire lol.
how irrelevant. are you his boyfriend or something?

exactly. you made my point for me
Then why are you talking about it if it's useless info?

he said he was a good guy.
he added info that would lead us to believe he is a good guy.

How hard is it to understand that the mention of him being a firefighter was more relevant to his "badass" cred than to the story about him saving a little kid.

this is the only forum i know where one guy will point out something stupid and totally disregard a story about some kid getting his life saved

Well, there's the Bay12 forums where they will then ask if he found a way to weaponize the kid, the pavement, the broken bikes, and if he tossed the kid into traffic.

Also, I mentioned that he's a firefighter, because they are trained to save lives in immediate peril, even if it's risking their own. It actually doesn't matter if there's a fire or not, they will come to help.
