Author Topic: What do I do if the Ferguson Riots spread to St. Louis/Crestwood area  (Read 3594 times)

Board up the windows and doors, maybe get a firearm or two and some emergency supplies (food, water, medical supplies, etc.), and you should be good. Just try not to go outside.

and thus a co-op riot themed action packed first person shooter is born
Could also be a beat-em-up, remember that "Point them out, and knock them out" game that a bunch of people were playing?

oh also if you can get some bars. try to bar your windows from the inside. lock the doors and windows, keep blinds and or curtains closed. dont answer the door unless its someone you know, and if it is someone you know, let them in quickly and close it. try setting up cameras and tripwires.

Tripwires? Where, in the lawn where he'll just forget them?

I suggest you watch all the Home Alone films and recreate every trap in them within your house.

a white cop shoots a middle-aged black man who was convicted of a crime, everyone goes batstuff

It was a white cop who shot an 18-year-old who had just violently robbed a convenience store, was high on weed, and was in the process of attacking the cop trying to grab his gun.

This is 100% a tribal deal. The kid was completely in the wrong and the cop was defending himself. By the looks of it, Officer Darren Wilson is going to be found innocent of murder charges. If that happens, quoting my mom, "All hell is gonna break loose."

She's seriously freaked out about my dad going to work on SLU campus.

i suggest you to die

These things are still going on?

Jesus, don't these people have jobs and lives?

Riots: small situation made big so you can have an easier time robbing things and vandalizing property

Riots: small situation made big so you can have an easier time robbing things and vandalizing property

It basically goes like this:

Ferguson extremists/protestors:

"omg justice for mike brown"
"put Wilson in jail he kill black people"
"down with racism"
"kill white people"
"we need more black cops"

"Ayyyyy guys look a gas station! Let's go burn it down! #justice #mikebrown #ferguson"

Mike Brown's parents:

"We'd like justice for our son. We do not want to be the source of the riots."
"That autopsy was phony. We want another one. Oh, that one came back in favor of Wilson? Also faulty. Do another one."

Other residents:

"We just don't want knife wounds and bullets in our heads."

Residents of nearby communities:

Is this even legal? To stop protesters from protesting?

If you aren't allowed to assemble, you can be arrested.

Remember, you may have the right to assembly, but you need a permit to assemble.

My thoughts exactly.

Or how about the blatant targeting of the media that nobody really seemed to care about. If this happened in a white majority area, I'm pretty sure people would go ape stuff. "OBAMAS VIOLTATIN' OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS"
