Pretty sure he's looking for well known hosts who can put together a popular server.
Not exclusively. I'm also looking for people who know how to find security flaws, I'll take them even if they don't host popular servers.

wow, this is really nice and professional looking. I love the "blocknet owns the keys" aspect of it. can't wait to see some groovy servs!

Popularity =/= Great Talent/Proficiency/Acceptable

he doesn't mean only those people...

All these services popping up AFTER i finally gave up looking and rented a straight-up VPS from NFO. That's kind of sad.

Beta application

IGN: The Brighter Dark

Your Blockland ID: 2227, Host off ID 31783

Would you be interested in purchasing managed service after the beta?: Yes

Would you want to use a BlockNet authentication key? ($1): No, i have some extras i use for Hostname

Please explain what experience you have that would make you a good candidate for testing BlockNet: I have used every single major blockland hosting service excluding hamm host (RTB, Kaphost, CBM (Pretty sure i was the 6th person to join), Private VPS). I am interested in purchasing a high performance server to handle large amounts of bricks, vehicles, and players. I would like to be a part of this beta because i want to compare this service to the others i have used and possibly give some input on how to improve.

Please explain what experience you have that would make you a good candidate for testing BlockNet:
I've been a programmer for several years now, and I have some experience in UI design, I can give suggestions on the service in general with my experience and I can make sure everything works as intended for the full release of the service.

I have decided on the beta testers. The following applicants have been awarded beta service free-of-charge.

Port
Kochieboy
Brian Smith
The Brighter Dark
Greek2me

The beta will probably start in a few days, I'll simultaneously contact everyone in the beta when it begins to ensure they have the details they need to log in and begin testing the service. If you're still interested in purchasing a beta slot, contact me.

This hasn't been decided yet, but it should be around the $10 price point.
