God this cunt has been getting on my nerves for a while now

censoring is the opposite of civil rights stupid cunt

honestly i consider posting anita sarkeesian topics in games, but she has transcended trying to take a steaming stuff on the gaming community. she is literally trying to cop a vicegrip on the internet's richard so that she can feel better when she talks about her opinions with no opposition.

she can't do jack stuff

she can't do jack stuff
i said she was trying, not succeeding

but i mean she has way more influence than i would like so it's a bit worrisome

"Plaintiffs should be able to sue harassers under pseudonyms to protect their identities"

Most pointless thing ever. Unless you're going to sue them on live television, there's noone to protect your "identities" (might i take a moment to say, wtf? You are one person. Not several.) from.

Who, the judge? Judges don't give away that kind of information to people. The defendant? The defendant is going to instantly know who sued them, pointless. The jury? Pointless again, they're just random people. Plus, I'm pretty sure that somewhere along the line you need to sign your actual name for legal documents.
It's coming from the sameplace as the similar argument regarding victims of rape or loveual assault/abuse.

They don't want their identities revealed, because it's too embarassing or painful to let everyone know they were raped/abused, and that everyone would think of them in relation to that affect. It becomes a stigma they can't get away from. It's similar to the way in which the identities of physically/loveually abused children are kept hidden, to protect them later on in life.
In some ways it's a good idea for that scenario, where many people are too afraid to come out about being a victim of rape or abuse.

But applying it to people who have been harrassed online is just absolutely pathetic.
If anything you should be named and shame for being too weak-willed or stupid to just turn off your computer, or block a user.
It servers no purpose in these cases to protect the identity of the abused.
For goodness sake, it's your own fault if you were out there giving away your full name and details on the internet anyway.
If you wanted anonymity then you should have used a pseudonym BEFORE you were harrassed, not AFTER.

"Okay 'CastrateAllMen1', you are free to take the stand"

Looking at some points in the OP, I have a few arguements.
teeos is butthurt edition

Oh, go forget yourself.
This is just yet another way you can make your videos and not have anyone bring up a point or counterargument because nobody should be mean or not agree with me on the internet!

How will this help anyone? The only reason I can think of to block someone who just made an account would be if they're some creepy stalker who follows you. Even then, I think the problem will be better handled by the police. Also as a double whammy, you couldn't do stuff for two weeks, which makes your suggestion not work even in that situation!

But again, WHO THE HELL WILL THIS HELP? I can't even think of one situation where this works without it being you plugging your ears and screaming "LA LA LA LA LA". Even the argument above this one had at least ONE option of how it was useful, even if it was ruined. As I said in the very first arguement I brought up, you're just bending and manipulating YouTube to avoid criticism or any sort of counterargument to your stuffty videos. If it isn't a way to block criticism, then why do you need it? Do you log into YouTube every morning and block people with less than X amount of subscribers for a hobby? Does it get you off?

What a stupid cunt.

All of this can be wrapped up as:
"Everyone deserves equal rights, but some people's rights should be more equal."

Man, if you guys keep saying the C word as much as you are then we might be pulled from our slot on the BBC :(
