you should be more responsible and keep track of your animals
You're kidding, right? I'm taking you've never owned an animal.

2 dogs. 1 female 1 male. never pregnant

be responsible

Okay, either you devote every second to watching them or they just aren't loveually active.
If not those than you must be keeping them pent up all the time. We are very responsible but its still unavoidable when you are trying to get things done and don't want to pen them up 24/7

nah I chillax. they are during their "heat" season like once or twice a year. then the female gets a doggy diaper (they are small dogs) or they get separated in two parts of the house

So you do pen them up, thats what your saying. To avoid anything you make sure they don't get interaction with other animals.
If you're that worried then get them spaded/neutered. Perhaps OP never had the money to do this or had no idea that a male cat was around.

I don't agree with spading/neutering dogs so no

and sure its penning them up in a way. but not always. and its better than a cage

anyway lemme check my dog pregnancy tally here... yep... mmhmm... 0

Isolating animals isn't good for them, its like isolating a person. It causes issues.
I've had a female dog and it was pregnant only once because a farm dog kept sneaking over. And this was when I lived in an area that had many many male dogs. She was not kept pent up or anything, she was an outside dog.

Cats are so different to dogs, lol.

For starters, they go outside on their own.
And they'll come into contact with other cats, whether they're strays or cats belonging to other neighbours.
Furthermore, they'll have love with more than 1 partner. Chances are in any moggy litter you'll have 2-3 fathers contributing.

You also can't do much about a pregnant animal after they're pregnant, at least nothing that's legal.
Abortions for pets aren't overly common, and they're expensive (as all animal treatments are).

Best tip to Decepticon (and anyone else) is to just get your cats Spayed and Neutered as soon as possible.
It's easier and safer, and more humane, than letting them breed beyond your/their ability to care for their kittens.

yeah, we're getting the mother spaded as soon as possible.

plus she's a quick bastard, which is why i'm assuming how she pregnant was she ran out of the door when somebody opened up the door when i was gone

no isolation is taking place. the barrier that blocks them is thin. there are small openings on the side. they can rub their noses or whatever dogs do or make noises. also the male can stand up and see over the barrier so its fine. that's if the female isn't wearing a diaper. if it is then they are both free to interact and nothing happens because the diaper is like a protection shield

also you should keep an eye on those farm dogs and make sure they cant sneak over

thank you for reminding me of why I hate cats

Its pretty sad that you actually put a diaper on a dog and make them wear it just because you don't want to deal with puppies. On top of that I thought you said they were in different rooms, now its a panel in between? You have me confused.

Our dog was an outside dog, so was the farm dogs. I dunno about you but I like to sleep at night.

If you don't want the dogs to breed, then why don't you just have them (or one of them) fixed?
Are they pedigree, or are you planning on breeding them later?

It just seems like an awful lot of fuss when you could have a simple surgery that doesn't really affect the animal, rather than regularly have to split them up and create barriers, and put one of them in a nappy (which sounds really dumb).

and put one of them in a nappy (which sounds really dumb).
Not to mention its extra work, having to change the dog everytime he or she uses the bathroom. And the fact that it costs money to get dog-diapers. (who the hell thought to make them?)

I cry every time too

the panel divides the house in two where 1 dog resides on each side. im not locking them up in a room that's brutal

also what do you mean you like to sleep at night. the dogs never bother me. its not like they are up 24/7. they go to sleep too.

no I just dont like cutting off an animals ballsack just to make my day a tiny bit easier.

sounds like a lot of fuss but it really isn't.
