Port forwarding on vista problems

How do I port forward on vista? I followed everything on the port forwarding, but still can't get the server running. A few of my friends said the server is dead.

it could be vista, it could be your firewall software, or it could be your router configuration.
double check that your firewall isn't blocking blockland or the ports needed to run the game 28000 - 28030
