Author Topic: How do I make people learn that hugs are warm?  (Read 10628 times)

This thread is approaching critical levels of 'school-shooter'

I can't really give you social advice if you're not willing to take it.
What do you even mean?

I enjoy hugs, and people are starting to get cold, so I wish to help them by giving them a nice warm hug.

I don't see what's so wrong with that.

If people want to warm up with a hug from you, they would ask you.
It isn't socially acceptable to give random hugs now-a-days, sorry.

You can offer a hug to stay warm, however you might get snarky comments and weird looks.

Well what I see wrong with it is that you want to press your body against random people for 'warmth' instead of wearing insulated clothing. It's also that you just made a joke about killing students in order to create a scenario where people give you hugs, and that you also seem to be so deprived of attention that you have to carry a child's comforter around with you. There's not much difference between a pillow pet and a "blanky". It's strange. You give me the heebie jeebies.

But the really weird part is that you don't even see it as strange. You think it's perfectly acceptable. I mean, everyone enjoys a hug, from their friends. But I don't specifically need hugs to be loving warm and I especially don't go around trying to convince strangers that it's beneficial to hug me.

pillow pet holy stuff lol

I like to use a sweater or heater

I don't know about you

and I especially don't go around trying to convince strangers that it's beneficial to hug me.
But it IS.

It provides warmth, and maybe even makes the body generate Oxytocin! Who doesn't like Oxytocin?

I'm all for giving hugs, but that sounds like a condition caused by drinking hydrogen peroxide.

but for now I have to stick to hugging my Pillow-Pet that I bring to school for warmth.

And before anyone asks, I have a pee-wee bee as my pillow pet.
am I the only one who feels like these two parts weren't really necessary and were just to get a reaction out of the forums?

and I mean it definitely has.

I wasn't expecting this kind of response, until I remembered that this was BLF.

You're just a loving weirdo. it's weird to do what you're saying. Hugs are awesome and stuff but maybe you smell and they don't want to smell you?
