Author Topic: What is your stance on abortion? (Abortion discussion)  (Read 42432 times)

I mean, I don't believe people should be getting abortions like it's a regular cup of coffee or something, but I don't have a problem with it, especially if the circumstances call for it.

I personally would not like to be put in a situation where abortion is an option, but I don't have an issue with other people doing it, just so long as they have a good reason that doesn't involve some blonde ditz shagging everybody up Oxford Street and then freaking out when it turns out she's pregnant.

till they are born they arent people and i dont give a forget. kill em and suck em out.

but im not pro choice technically because i dont support the idea of woman having choices.
XD

100% pro-life
Could you explain?

I am semi-pro choice, only because woman should be allowed to abort if the baby is mentally ill, she or the guy has genes they don't want to pass on, she is mentally ill and single, it'll threaten her life, was under the influence, date rape, she is not in the financial situation/must put the child up for adoption anyway, raped/loveually assaulted, ect.

You don't go around hurr durring all the time using abortions like no other, such as being an absolute slut and being suprised the 100th guy you had love with that day forgot to put on a condom.

those are all the reasons girls have abortions. lol in fact they are the ONLY reasons. especially since you named "she is not in the financial situation" as one of them.

you guys do realize an abortion includes the morning after (plan B) pill right? and thats the majority of what abortion statistics are. and there is no reason that couldnt easily, cheaply, and safely be done 20 times a year if needed.
you guys dont know stuff about it lol. you think an abortion is killing some human shaped fetus because thats what those christian billboards tell you.
wake up

I don't study research statistics at all.

As for the morning-after pill, I classify that as contraceptives. You're correct scientifically, but I just don't think it's right to classify the events at the start of the process in the same way as the product closer to the end.

well yeah your right it should technically be a contraceptive. but legally its an abortion, and thats what those high number statistics are referring to.

all pro life people need to know this fact. because they are fighting the bigger picture and not knowing those specifics. dont forget everyone who dosnt want to raise a baby in poverty just so you can save that 1% of late term abortions that are much more rare now (pro life people should be thanking the morning after pill from preventing them, but thats an abortion as well...)

Before the third trimester is okay, same if health complications are present or if it was rape case, anything after that is a big no.

My opinion is no abortion unless it's the result of rape, loveual abuse/assault, or will cause serious harm to the mother.

It's just my opinion and I'm not going to try to justify it to anyone :P
basically this

This thread made me look back at my old circumcision poll. Now we just need a vaccine thread and we'll have a trifecta of stuffstorms.

Pro-Choice. A human should have control over their own body. Forcing a person to give birth even if they don't want it is wrong, especially if your reasoning boils down to "It conflicts with MY morals". Childbirth isn't for everyone. Why ruin 1 potentially great life that can give birth at a later, better time? Why force a child and its family grow in poverty because of a mistake? Or force a child to grow up hated because it was born out of rape or was born handicapped?

idk about you guys but i'm just waiting until the religious people get in here

EDIT: apparently this is my 20000th post
