It is very presumptuous to assume that life begins at the point at which something can sustain itself independently.  This assumes that all marsupials are not alive in the early stages of life.  This assumes that many young animals, those that require milk or sustenance as provided by their parents are not alive because the moment that their parents stop providing for them, they die.  Since human babies need to be fed from early to mid childhood, it is to assume they are not alive since they cannot independently provide for themselves.

I didn't say sustain, I said surviving. I see where you're trying to argue from, however you should have figured out what I meant. I'll rehash it to be a bit more literal for you:

You have not transitioned from a fetus to a human infant until you are outside your mother's womb. Fetuses are fair game.

Language is a bitch. No one has really presented to this argument that a fetus isn't made of living cells, however that's not even what we're talking about. In terms of reproduction, a woman should not be forced to carry a fetus for 9 months and give birth to it, when there are options like contraception and abortion on the table.

Personally, if its going to be horribly forgeted up (Incredibly deformed/ in a super stuffty family that wont even take care of it) when its born, then its better they abort them before he suffers through all of that stuff if it will most likely cause it to die anyways.

Like basically, if they're doomed to die in the near future, may as well end them before they really suffer is what I'm saying.
