A bucket of milk and salt has the potential to become cheese after some time. But if I dump out the bucket, did I destroy cheese? Obviously not, there was never any cheese to begin with. Likewise, an abortion is not killing a human being because there never was a human being.

If you conceal a portion of milk in a bag, and then cover it in rock salt, the temperature is slowly drained from the milk, and over time the milk will transform from milk into ice cream. (that's how I recall it from school) Now, before it becomes ice cream, throw out the bag of milk. Stomp the forget out of it. Watch the milk fly everywhere, then throw all the rock salt into a lake.
