Author Topic: What is your stance on abortion? (Abortion discussion)  (Read 42497 times)

That is my argument, but you have yet to disprove it. Quit playing Rally's loving ice cream brown townogy. Ice cream is not accurately comparable to loving life.
What even is this argument

It doesn't even make sense

Too bad it's still legitimate. Ingredients =/= product.

A fetus will turn into life, if it is not already.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I already said that

So, like I said. Guess you should stop masturbating, you murderer.

What even is this argument

It doesn't even make sense

A bucket of milk and salt has the potential to become cheese after some time. But if I dump out the bucket, did I destroy cheese? Obviously not, there was never any cheese to begin with. Likewise, an abortion is not killing a human being because there never was a human being.

Milk and salt will turn into cheese. I'm not destroying cheese by dumping out the bucket of things that are distinctly not cheese.

Sorry Tristan but lofty and distant brown townogies won't cut it—especially when the connection dismisses the picture of life.

The fact that you don't understand such a simple brown townogy speaks volumes
Alright, you explain it, it's relevance and apparently comparable value to abortion.

The fact that you don't understand such a simple brown townogy speaks volumes
The sentence just doesn't make sense.
You're not trolling hard enough.

The circles are closing in.

You're completely denying everything you've said and I love it.
Lol okay. What circles? We're on like 18 and a half different subjects right now. I'm not denying what I've said at all. I've kept the same viewpoint throughout the discussion. Duh.

A bucket of milk and salt has the potential to become cheese after some time. But if I dump out the bucket, did I destroy cheese? Obviously not, there was never any cheese to begin with. Likewise, an abortion is not killing a human being because there never was a human being.
So since the mother got rid of the baby, it was never there and could never be. Logic, folks!

I quickly want to stress this; the majority of people who are anti-abortion are religious, and it's because of the concept of a soul.

The big question for religious people is "When does the soul actually enter the body of the zygote to form a human?" In that case, we need to have a religious discussion.

Otherwise, it's purely ethical, and the answer should be related to science and facts/figures/statistics that we have on why people get abortions.

Sorry Tristan but lofty and distant brown townogies won't cut it.

Distant? Not really. The bucket and the zygote are just things that eventually become other things. Is destroying the ingredients the same as destroying the product? No, if you recognize that salty milk isn't cheese.

So since the mother got rid of the baby, it was never there and could never be. Logic, folks!
She didn't get rid of a baby, she got rid of the fetus, which is not a baby. It was never there - you got that right - but I never said it couldn't have been. Strawman fallacy. Stop using it. Now.

This completely contradicts everything you've ever said. We've done a full lap of the track, and you crashed on the final corner.

GG you admitted zygotes and fetuses don't contain the life of a human being initially.

It's extremely simple.

If you conceal a portion of milk in a bag, and then cover it in rock salt, the temperature is slowly drained from the milk, and over time the milk will transform from milk into ice cream. (that's how I recall it from school) Now, before it becomes ice cream, throw out the bag of milk. Stomp the forget out of it. Watch the milk fly everywhere, then throw all the rock salt into a lake. Have you destroyed any ice cream?

So since the mother got rid of the baby, it was never there and could never be. Logic, folks!
You're right! The baby never was there!
All that was there was a fetus. No babies there.

No but anyone who stomps milk must be prepared for one hell of a mess

I'm trying to keep religion out of this because although I am religious, arguments about "it's a sin", which technically it is, will get us nowhere.

Quit twisting my words and arguments, please. Or at least go back and read them.

And they do.

A fetus is one of the first steps of a full-grown human. A fetus is a baby. Similar to how a sprout is a plant.

god said it's bad to stomp milk

brown townogies are only good if they are short, simple, and need no explaining...

otherwise they are just off topic discussion

Quit twisting my words and arguments, please.
I never did. You forgeted up and you know it.

And they do.
Then why did you admit they don't. Explain it please.

You're denying simple logic and reasoning that has been proven by, oh, wait- MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF YEARS OF OUR SPECIES' SURVIVAL
