i told wrap to make it so that fall damage doesn't instantly kill you, but the shockwave's projectile does, but he doesnt seem to have gotten around to that yet

Mainly because it requires an edit to both the nonjet and jet playertype, and restarting the server. I'll be adding a shield meter and fix falling dmg when i'm back from school. I would have done it yesterday, but I was setting up Paypal donations. I'm waiting for my account to be verified (by fri or mon), now that was done, i can get to more randomizer features. Possibly a longer invincibility period at the beginning.

can fall damage be made so that you won't die from a fall (like it is now), but you will die from a launch by the shockwave and stuff

would it be possible to make a playertype that bases the damage on how fast they were going?

Maybe we should remove the fast playertype, given it's already a small map.  That'd fix a lot of things, especially considering the fast playertype is annoying as sin.

I also don't understand why the weapon choices are now almost entirely your weapons.  I like the map, but the old weapon set was definitely nicer than this.  I mean, expansion is fine, but limiting it like this just because it's your map seemed silly/"wow all my stuff because my map".

Maps shouldn't change the whole gamemode.

Also, I was accused of wallhacking by Nicoes, is there any way to confirm I'm not, other than illustrating that viewing corners at a diagonal while turning isn't hacking?

at that point the map would be as much of a slog as the last map and rocket jumping would have even more ludicrous benefits

like what the forget why did we even remove fall damage? that's there to make rocket jumping a risk/reward sort of thing, without a penalty for stuffty rocket jumping the map is completely dominated by rocket jumps

first they're not all my weapons and the amount of weapons that are mine have barely increased since the last map, second why are you putting words in my mouth like that

i got rid of all the glitchy or obtuse stuff like the automatic death gauss rifle and MAS because they're better then the rest of the weapons by leaps and bounds and introduced, buffed and nerfed new weapons to add new gameplay options or quirks (like the 360 rifle and the tase weapons) to make sure most guns are competent and can fight on roughly even grounds with the rest of the weapons

obviously we're not done balancing

the best way to make sure a gamemode stays dynamic and fresh is to make all of the maps noticeably different while retaining the same core gameplay

if we had this map, an improved version of the old map and a third map that was just, say, final destination, then joining the server would be

based on track record i'm going to assume you're not

But this map is already about half the size than the last one.  So you're making the rounds waaay too quick by decreasing the area of the build and increasing the speed of the player.
