Author Topic: why just why  (Read 1417 times)

i don't know but i get a strange felling that says "don't forward ports" i sort of agree because people could be 40 year old freaks sendingf in viruses but it says forward because who would waste time making a virus for no reason. i also ask "why does this 1 game out of many need forwarding ports" some people can't forward because (a) parents won't lets (b) people may hack..... if you make it so you don't have to forward i would see much better gameplay and people. i mean sheeesh how many times have you went looking for a map or server but there was none. please get this done.

What the panda are you talking about? Hahaha, this loser things forwarding ports is dangerous. Just like those cigarettes that think giving out your IP is dangerous. Worst they could do is get an, oh... lets say 100 mile radius of where you live.

All games need forwarding if you want to host. Unless the router already has it ported or you don't have a router. Gfys.

Seriously. I could find out more than I could with an IP by tracking you by adding you on AIM, which is "heedicalking", and using a simple command in the command prompt.

either way it is long and boring

I can forward a port in 20 seconds. Badspot's tutorial is full of stuff.

Lol just do it while your parents are gone. Or when they're busy.

but they will find out

please respond to this badspot

They won't find out.

YES THEY WILL please make another way to do this

First of all, they won't know/care. You're playing a lego game online; so what?

Second, other way? No! This is how EVERY game does it; some games just automatically do it.

1. No one is going to hack you from you opening a few ports.  It is ten times more likely that you will download a virus off of limewire or something because that's what kids your age do.

2. The reason you have to forward ports for Blockland and no other games is because Blockland is the first game you've played where you are actually trying to host a game.  A large number of games require you to forward ports if you want to host.

3. Stop making ambiguous topics or I am going to ban you.
