Author Topic: School canceled because of snow  (Read 4848 times)

winter lasts 6 months in minnesota so we rarely get snow days

north dakota has policy that only the districts can decide whether to shut down school due to weather. unlike minnesota which if a few schools have to cancel, the whole state goes on lock-down (from what i've heard atleast)

therefore my district says school is only cancelled if visibility it 30% or less or something like that.

is something genuinely funny or do you not understand what being sick is

ive had plenty of sore throat syndrome in the past and never had to miss a day
it just appealed to me lol

almost 6 inches of snow in one loving night

it was in the 60s last week :s

School doesn't get canceled here unless if it snows like 6 inches in one night.
yep. mn swag

I haven't had a snow day in 2 years

Closest thing to natural snow I've ever seen was hail. I have never experienced below 5° temperatures.
I also thought snow in America would only fall in like calendar/astronomical/whatever winter

surprisingly it is winter.

also having sunlight that only lasts 5 hours is fun

its been constantly snowing here.
the sky is grayish white and super foggy
outside is just complete white with a few silhouettes.

I bet by the winter solstice ill be down to 3 and a half hours to 4 hours of "daylight".
Its like a sunset during the day. Its budget iceland.
