My temperature on the front porch reads 26 right now, and the porch is always a few degrees warmer than outside.

My temperature is always lower than St. Louis due to the Heat Island Effect (where buildings, usually brick structures, absorb and give off more heat resulting in a slightly higher temperature than the surrounding area). Since I'm a county away from the city, my temperature is usually a good two to seven degrees cooler than the city itself.

For example, last night's forecast low for St. Louis was 19. It got down to 14 here, being just 30 miles from the city.

sore throat rofl

i need to be in a coma if i ever wish to officially miss a school day
not sure how kiddies miss an entire week

Breaking my elbow got me off school for a week while they dealt with splints, x-rays, CAT scans, then finally surgery.

Thankfully, it wasn't my writing arm.

I'll be off school on Friday because my family (all except me) is going to Tennessee and there won't be anyone to drive me home from school.
