Personally, I kinda wish I hadn't picked up the violin. It was fun for the first 4 years, but my parents actually want me to get somewhere with it, and it's been kind of a chore for me recently. I can barely make it through practicing an hour every day, and I find myself too distracted to actually get things done. I've been playing for like 8 years now, and I kind of wish I hadn't picked it up in the first place. I can't quit now, because my parents have spent like, thousands of dollars on my lessons and instrument.
