i live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. all of my classmates are either gang members, stoners, rapists (and likely to try to impregnate me- someone's already threatened to rape me at school), prone to severe violence (such as the nightly fights that result in police intervention), or all four. there isn't much incentive to attend parties hosted by them or to even venture over the tracks to the welfare side of town.
