Have you tried to record deus ex? It doesn't show up at all. Try it smartass.

OBS has literally worked with every game I've tried it with
the only time the recording stuttered was when the game stutters (very rarely)

People are trying to help but you seem to shoot down anything suggested, we know the programs are good because we used them, its probably an operator error. You're not setting up something right it seems.

I use OBS and it hasn't failed me a single time.

It isn't working for the games I am trying to use it with. Try using it with Deus Ex. It doesn't show up at all. Also I linked a thread with my problem and looked into other forums. I've tried all the suggestions that people have given me but it refuses to work properly.

Yeah. They suggested for me to bump it down to 3,500 but I don't really like having my recordings smeared in Vaseline.

try running OBS as administrator? i think sometimes stuff won't show up or capture if you don't

i had an issue like that with TTR. although i'm p sure it told me
