Need good game recording software

If your games aren't showing up and they're stuttering and your hardware is ok, then it is most likely software related (install, setup, config, etc.). But I can also testify, OBS works great, it has to be some sort of user error. Even if you did get help here, the advice you recieved might be bogus simply because they don't know the state of your computer - they aren't there helping you.

Also, try opening Dues X first. Then it might show up.

try running OBS as administrator? i think sometimes stuff won't show up or capture if you don't

i had an issue like that with TTR. although i'm p sure it told me

Tried it. No difference. Other games like MoH showed up before so the admin thing isn't the case.

For my games stuttering yes. I thought maybe a less intense game like the original Deus Ex it might work fine but it doesn't work at all. So I said forget it. This isn't a thread to fix OBS, I want software that actually loving works.

It could just be that OBS doesn't like how old Deus Ex is. I know a lot of capture problems don't like older renderers. You could try using this:

Get the demo first, it has a watermark so it isnt the kind of thing you would want to make videos with, and you cant stream with the free version. Get demo though to try it out. Full ver has a livestreaming addon (but it costs additional) and has no watermark. Its pretty gr8

I know, try out the trial and see how you like it. The interface is easy, overall its just really good. Dont judge it by the watermark, it goes away on the full version.

forget using the dropdown menu in obs i set my capture button to the home button and it works on basically everything.

dxtory works flawlessly for me so idk what's up with you.
