Author Topic: What if we give donate money to Badspot for Blockland in New Torque Engine 3D?  (Read 2286 times)

Um... I'm guessing you don't know about Furling, then?

He's deaf.
Little-known Fact: Betelgeuse is deaf and his English is light years ahead of Furling's. I remember hearing Furling has some mental disability.

This is wholly accurate, but I think you meant "word."

i think both work but yeah i meant word

Hey guy let go back this topic, not about me or other deaf guys, please.

i dont think he could quick port or upgrade the engine so simply like that can he? wouldnt it be just remaking the game?

at that point he could just make and call it blockland2.
but thats a business decision based on the popularity of current blockland. if the effort dosnt show the payoff that a full sequel should have, is it worth it?

How much Badspot need a fund to hire new staff work with him, so they could work on New torque engine for Blockland. Does you think cost about $10k or $5k? unlike Roblox has large staff aslo HQ Office too. Why not Badspot build his own empire of Blockland HQ office and more staff.

I know they are not very quick port. There million code error and bug need to fix.

EDIT: Roblox does not make a squeal product name, just upgrade the engine.

I wouldn't see why Blockland would need to be moved to a newer engine, it looks great the way it is currently. Plus, I wouldn't think that there would need to be a sequel, considering it's a sandbox game. Blockland has boatloads of room for updates and improvements.

only reason I'd imagine it could use a port is to redo the graphics to be less demanding. Blockland is by far the most demanding game I've ever played.

IPAD and smart Tablet

lol he'd just be like "thanks for the money, i'm not making stuff though"

IPAD and smart Tablet
What does that have to do with what Georges said?

I would believe a small team working on converting the game over would cost a lot more thab $10,000, especially if it is a full time job for them. If you had 10 people working on the game, and you bay them a basic livable wage of $26 an hour, thats about 10k per week of casholas spent.

Even then, the process wouldnt be profitable at all.
