Author Topic: L's & D's Little Black Sketchbook  (Read 2403 times)

This is my sketchbook. It's an 8x5" book with an Assassin's Creed cover I bought at a Sci-Fi convention. I like to draw stuff in it.

Here are some of my sketches:
Hatsune Miku

Kagamine Rin

Megurine Luka

Misc

I have no desire to be an artist and I'm not looking for criticism. This thread is for sharing my work, not for improving it. It's also worth noting that because I do this purely for fun, I don't do this as often as others. So expect slow updates.

sharing your work means people can see it
if people can see it, they'll notice things wrong with it
if they notice things wrong with it, they'll inform you

the only way to escape criticism is to take it.

do you want a side of fedora with that

is this just a way to turn down any constructive feedback? even if you're doing it for fun, it doesn't mean you can't improve.

I'd rather improve on my own. Most criticism I see is of things I already know about, and I really don't like repetition.

guys if he doesn't want criticism, just don't comment at all
he obviously doesn't want it and you guys keep badgering him about it and how it will supposedly help him improve
leave him be

Am I seriously the only person on earth without artistic talent

like what the forget

so if you know about them then why don't you fix them?

nope

That Judge Dredd though.
Regarding the criticism, if you know your issues you don't need someone to staple them more over. I myself would also expect exclusive throughout criticism if I make a full-out art piece but it's not necessary for silly sketches.
Also where are those wepon designs?
