personally, i kinda want them to stick to old B movies circa 60's - 80's, like usual, because although i like rifftrax, it's harder to goof on a movie with a big budget.

I agree. I think it's due to the fact that those movies were of course lower budget, and that times have changed so much, they get to comment on things from the 50's - 80's eras, such as culture or technology. I'm pretty sure they are sticking to the oldies, because that's what MST3k was about, although on the show come to think of it they did have a couple movies that were made around the mid-nineties, like Future War or Merlin's Shop.
